Senior Project Manager Freelance – Energy & Power Infrastructure (Switzerland)

Isa Digital Consulting is an independent consulting firm with 30 years of experience supporting ICT departments of large organizations. We operate on complex digital transformation projects across both public and private sectors, in national and international contexts.

An international company operating in the energy and power infrastructure sector is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager for a full-time engagement.
This role requires an initial on-site presence in Switzerland for the first months, followed by a long-term commitment of three days per week on-site.

Role Overview

The selected candidate will manage complex projects within the energy and power infrastructure domain, ensuring delivery in line with technical, operational, and stakeholder requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex projects in energy, power infrastructure, industrial plants, or highly engineered environments
• Oversee the full project lifecycle: planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, progress monitoring, and reporting
• Ensure alignment between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners
• Monitor milestones, risks, and performance indicators, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
• Operate with strong autonomy, reliability, and a clear results orientation

• Proven experience as Project Manager in complex projects within energy, power infrastructure, industrial plants, or high-engineering contexts
• Fluent German (mandatory)
• Demonstrated experience in full project lifecycle management
• High level of autonomy, accountability, and delivery focus
• Availability to work regularly on-site in Switzerland

• Engagement: Full-time
• Location: Zurich, Switzerland (initial full on-site presence required, followed by 3 days per week on-site)
